How often does
Sitalyzer check my website(s)
?
Sitalyzer will accept any
checking interval you need for your website.
From once a day to every 15, 10, 5 minutes, or
even every 1 minute, Sitalyzer adapts to your needs.
The more often Sitalyzer will check your website, the shorter
the downtime. The good news is we do not charge any additional
fees for the frequency you choose.
So if you decide to have a
frequency check of 1 minute, Go for it. Your website will
thank you over and over again.
Can I receive an
email when there is a problem on my website?
Yes absolutely. Sitalyzer
has an email alert system that supports multiple email
addresses per domain.
It is recommended, however,
that at least one email address not be linked to the website
monitored, or you might not receive the email alert in case of
a total system down.
Can Sitalyzer
send an email alert to more than one email address in case of
a problem?
Yes, no problems. Sitalyzer
supports multiple email addresses notification.
Can I have a
different email address for each of my websites?
Absolutely. Each website
monitored has its own list of email addresses to be notified
when Sitalyzer generates an alert.

Can I use
Sitalyzer to monitor my competitors' websites?
Technically, you can. It is
your responsibility, however, to check with your legal counsel
whether you can legally do so in your state or country.
How are you
different from the competition?
I am so glad you asked.
At Applied Software
International, we do not believe that our customers should be
taken advantage of. We compete on value, not simply on price.
This is why we charge per domain, not per URL (webpage). Sitalyzer will
check automatically up to 5 webpages that YOU consider
critical at no extra cost.
Not to mention that when you
use Sitalyzer SE (Standalone Edition), even if you ask our
product to monitor your site every 1 minute, the price does
not change. Actually most of our competition does not even
allow you a checking interval of 1 minute, even if you offer
to pay more!!
With Sitalyzer 1.3, a critical feature was added, making our
product literally in a class of its own. This new feature is
the Action Manager. The Action Manager is an "open-system"
that permits to take automatic corrective actions, either to
fix the problem, or to circumvent it depending on your
setting.
Let me give you just one
more reason. We are currently bundling Linkalyzer with
Sitalyzer. The result ? You can check every single page
of your website, as often as you wish for any type of bad
links, internal as well as external!
Oh, did I forget to mention that you will continue enjoying
Linkalyzer at no extra cost for as long as you are a Sitalyzer

What type of
message do I receive when Sitalyzer sends an alert?
The
message you will receive from Sitalyzer will give you all the
information you need for a prompt resolution. Time the problem
occurs, the full URL of the problematic webpage, the return
code/status generated, and the definition of the return code.
What happens if
the error persists?
We do too !
Sitalyzer will continue
checking the page at the chosen frequency, and you will
continue receiving messages until the problem is fixed.
Sitalyzer can also take corrective actions, depending on
settings, to either fix the problem or circumvent it.
Does Sitalyzer
check HTTPS?
Yes it does. Sitalyzer will
check the non-secured (HTTP) as well as the secured (HTTPS)
version of your website.
This is a standard option,
and we do not charge any additional fees for it.
Does Linkalyzer support dynamic HTML?
We are working on a solution, and will deliver it as soon as
it is available and reliable. We currently do not support dynamic
webpages.
My website is
down but I did not receive any email alerts?
There are 3 likely reasons why this
might occur:
- Please check the spelling
of your email address.
- Please check if the
automatic checking of your website is paused or stopped
- Please check the spelling
of your SMTP server, and the userid/password if need be. Check with your Internet Service Provider
for details.
How much does
Sitalyzer cost?
Sitalyzer is subscription
based or license based. You will pay a monthly, or
yearly fee depending on the type of subscription you will choose,
or a one time fee if you decide to purchase a lifetime license.

How do I pay?
Payment is done online by
credit card on a secured website.
Your credit card will
automatically be billed each month if you choose the
month-to-month subscription, quarterly or yearly if you choose
the yearly contract.

Do I have to pay
additional fees if I want to monitor my website more often?
No. If you chose Sitalyzer
SE (Standalone Edition), you can increase the frequency of
monitoring all the way to a 1 minute interval at no extra
cost.
Do I have to pay
additional fees if I want to monitor more than one critical
webpage?
No. We offer up to 5
critical webpages to monitor at no extra cost.

Do I pay more if
I want to monitor another site?
Yes that is correct. You
will need to pay additional fees to monitor additional
websites as Sitalyzer is priced per domain.

How do you
protect my privacy?

Sitalyzer
alerted me that my system is down. What does this mean?
It means that Sitalyzer was
unable to access your website through the Internet. The most
common reasons are:
- Your web server is down
- Your ISP is having network
problems
- Your Internet connection is
down.
The Traceroute command
built-in in Sitalyzer usually will help you find the right answer.
Can I afford
Sitalyzer?
We have priced Sitalyzer
very reasonably. From a monthly subscription based approach to
a lifetime license based solution, you will find the right
choice for you.
The right question is can
you afford not to?
How much revenue are you
losing every time your website is down ? How much future earning are
you losing for this same downtime?
The Internet world is not
like the "real" world. If they can't access your website right
away, they are gone ... to your competition.
Not to mention how poorly a
down website reflects on your reputation.
By the way, do you know that
a 99% uptime guarantee means that your website may be down
almost 8 hours a month!! Can you afford not to use Sitalyzer?
Do you have an
affiliate Program?
Yes absolutely. This is one easy way to have Sitalyzer pay for
itself !
Our Affiliate program is free to enroll; but is only open to
our clients. The reason why we have decided not to open to the
public, is that we believe, you have to know a product to be
able to genuinely recommend it.
Our commission structure is quite generous, with lifetime

What should I
monitor?
Not all webpages are created
equal! Some are more critical than other. Among them are your
home page, probably your "Contact us" page, your order page ...
These are the critical pages
that need close monitoring and automatic checking.
But this does not mean that
your other webpages are not important. With Linkalyzer, you will always be able
to check your entire website whenever you want to, to verify
the status of each of its pages.
Is it possible
that some of the alerts I receive are false alerts?
We do our best to filter
false alerts; however, you may occasionally get an alert for a
transient problem.
My Web server is
running on a UNIX platform. Do you support it?
Sitalyzer is not dependent
on the platform used to run your Web server. It can be Unix,
Linux, NT, Apache.... We do not mind, at all.
You will however need
Windows XP or above, or Windows NT 4.0 or above to run
Sitalyzer SE.

Can I monitor
more than one Website?
You sure can! Sitalyzer can
support all of your websites. Additional fees may be required,
please check the pricing page for further details.
Is there an
initial set up fee?
No. We have decided to waive
any and all setup fees until further notice. We recommend you
take advantage of the situation while it lasts !
Do you accept
credit cards?
Yes we do. We accept Visa,
MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We use a secure server for your
protection.
If I am paying
by credit card, do I need to enter it every month?
No, our billing system takes
care of the recurring billing and you will be billed monthly,
quarterly, or annually depending on the service you required.
Can I pay for
the Service by check?
Yes you can, if you sign up
for the yearly subscription or wish to
purchase a lifetime license. Activation of the product may be attached
to check clearance. Please contact our Sales department for
more details.
Is ordering
online safe?
Yes it is. We use a secure
server that encrypts all your information for your protection.
If you are still unsure,

Can I purchase a
license of Sitalyzer, instead of the subscription-based
service?
Yes, absolutely. Purchasing
a license of Sitalyzer, will give you a lifetime usage of the
product. We will include 1 year of technical support and 1
year of maintenance and update at no extra cost.
